History of LK Productions

Owner, Lorenzo King is an expert mobile disc jockey. He has provided and musical entertainment services for over 26 years! He has a wealth of knowledge in matching the right songs, timing, and dance party mood to create an elegant atmosphere of celebration.

LK Productions began in 1984 in Dunn, North Carolina when Lorenzo noticed after going to parties and wedding receptions that people were not receiving their money's worth from the DJ. He realized there was so much more that a disc jockey should be doing to warm up the crowd and entertain.

Lorenzo's dj business grew so well as part-time job that in 1987 he moved to Raleigh, North Carolina. Then in 1991, he left a state government job to manage his LK Productions fulltime. Over the years Lorenzo and his well-trained staff have done hundreds of quality wedding receptions, company parties, high school dances, and many other types of events. Lorenzo is the Master DJ you can count on. He is dependable. He shows up early and leaves late!
